Westport Police Arrest Suspected Greens Farms Burglar

Police say they've been working hard to identify the perpetrator.

 

on Monday arrested a 47-year-old Bridgeport man on burglary and larceny charges for breaking into three occupied homes in the Greens Farms area.

Tyrone B. Doby, of Maplewood Avenue, was charged with three counts of second-degree burglary, four counts of third-degree burglary, second-degree larceny and third-degree larceny.

“The Westport Police Department Detective Bureau worked very hard in identifying the person responsible for these burglaries,” Capt. Sam Arciola said in a press release. “We continue to look at the link between these burglaries and others which are still under investigation.”

Doby was held on $100,000 bond and scheduled to appear June 13 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
