Westport Police Search for Vehicle Involved in Burglary

Westport police responded on April 8 to a report of a burglary at a White Woods Road residence near the Norwalk town line.

 

Westport police are looking for assistance in solving a burglary that occurred near at a home on White Woods Road.

The homeowner reported seeing a blue Audi with two men inside leaving the private road as she returned home, according to Westport Police Captain Sam Arciola.

“Evidence from the residence was recovered in another jurisdiction that links the above described vehicle to the burglary in Westport,” Arciola stated.

The vehicle was described as bright blue, newer Audi. The model is possibly an A4, and has tinted windows and a loud muffler, Arciola said. The first three numbers on the registration plate are possibly 177, he said.

The Westport Police Department is asking the public that if they have any information about the crime or vehicle information, that they are to contact the Westport Police Department Detective Bureau at 203-341-6080.
