Westport Police Make Marijuana Bust

The officer noticed a clear plastic sandwich bag containing marijuana on the rear floor of the man's car, police said.

 

Westport police issued 31-year-old, John Tou, of Norwalk, two infractions for possession of drug paraphernalia and two infractions for possession of less than a half-ounce or marijuana, according to a police report. 

Tou was stopped by Westport police after an officer spotted him travelling at a high rate of speed, police said.

The officer noticed a clear plastic sandwich bag containing marijuana on the rear floor of Tou's car. The bag contained 0.470 ounces of marijuana, police said.

Also located was a small pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana in the center armrest, according to police.
