Westport Teen Charged With Sale of Narcotics

Police found a fake ID, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the suspect's car, according to a police report.

 

A Westport police officer spotted a suspicious vehicle on North Avenue and initiated a traffic stop that turned up a fake identification, drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana at about 1:25 a.m. Thursday, police said.

charged 19-year-old Shannon Moss, of 6 Rabbit Hill with, sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance: narcotics, and third-degree forgery, police said.

She was taken into custody, processed and released on $5,000 bond. She is due in court for arraignment August 31.
