Westport Woman Steals, Pawns Father’s Property, Gets Busted

Two females allegedly stole and pawned $3,000 worth of property.

 

After a father reported several items of his were missing from his home a police investigation led officers to a pawn shop in Stamford, according to a police report.

Nicole Anastasia, 24, of 67 Hales Connection, Westport, and another female allegedly went to the Stamford pawn shop July 28 and sold several items belonging to Anastasia’s father without his knowledge or permission, police said.

The total value of the items stolen was $3,000, according to the police report.

Officers went to Anastasia’s residence with a warrant for her arrest and charged her with third-degree larceny. She was released on $10,000 bond and is expected to appear in Norwalk Superior Court August 16.
