Westport police charged 43-year-old Magdaline Karageorge, of Milford, with issuing a bad check after she turned herself in to the Westport Police Department Wednesday morning on an active arrest warrant, police said.
The incident occurred back in July 2012 when Karageorge wrote a check to Lux Bond and Green for approximately $830 to repair a watch. She had insufficient funds to cover the check, according to an arrest report.
Karageorge posted a $1,000 cash-only bond and was released. She is due in court on January 30.
