Democrats vying for the U.S. Senate nomination debated in Bridgeport on Sunday, and the Hartford Courant fact checked the statements by Chris Murphy and Susan Bysiewicz. Both the candidates appeared to be mistaken on some facts.

Wayne Winsley (R) had a press conference in New Haven on Thursday to criticize Rosa DeLauro’s consideration of a federal soda tax.

Fourth District

Jim Himes (D): The incumbent recently relaunched his campaign website, http://www.himesforcongress.com. In other news, he named the 15th most beautiful member of Congress by The Hill. Himes did some modeling in college for clothing companies.
