Former Westport RTC Chair Endorses Rubin for State Rep.

A letter to the editor from Westport Resident Bob Zappi.

Stephen Rubin is much more than a State Representative Candidate for Westport’s 136th District. As a 20 year resident of Westport, Steve has done the hard work that produces results.

Steve Rubin has proven that he can work across party lines for the best interests of Westport. He has done so as an RTM member since 1993 and on various RTM committees. Working hard is nothing new for Steve. He has been involved in countless organizations giving of his time and talents to make Westport a better place. For example, he has helped the following organizations: Police Athletic League Trustee, American Red Cross, Founding member of Compo Beach Playground committee, Westport Sons of Italy Festival Italiano, Board Member of RESPECT, Host Committee for Connecticut’s Special Olympics, Founding Member of Al’s Angels, Fund Raiser and Photographer – Westport Basketball Association, Co-Founder Westport School Bus monitor program, and many more.

Steve Rubin has lived a life of service to Westport. There has never been a time when the challenge was too difficult that Steve backed away from offering his unwavering help. Steve is more than ready to tackle the challenges facing Connecticut, in a bi-partisan way for the benefit of Westport.

I ask that you vote for Steve Rubin on Election Day.
