Letter: Marpe/Kaner - A Great Pair for Our Children’s Future

It is my pleasure to write this letter in support of two proven leaders in Westport – Jim Marpe and Avi Kaner for First and Second Selectman.  For the first time in too long, we have an opportunity to elect leaders who have leadership experience.  Two people who know how to keep our schools the best in the country.  Two Dads who care deeply for the future of Westport children.  Two watchdogs who will not let our financial house crumble.  Two leaders who are not satisfied with the status quo.  

As unique and special as Westport is, Jim and Avi will work hard to improve it still.  Whether you’re a young parent with kids in the schools, an “empty nester” with grown children or a senior hoping to retire in our gorgeous seaside community, Jim and Avi have your best interests in mind.  Vote them in and know the future is in capable hands.
