The Republican nominating convention for Probate Judge for the Westport/Weston Judicial District unanimously chose local attorney Lisa Wexler to run for probate judge in the upcoming special election on Nov. 5. The special election for a one-year period will complete the term of Judge Kevin O’Grady, who has resigned for health reasons. Attorney Kenneth Bernhard nominated Lisa Wexler for the position, seconded by Michael Rea, a member of the Westport Board of Finance.

“With a strong knowledge of how our Probate Court system works and the rules governing Probate, Lisa will do an outstanding job for you when you need her the most," Campaign Co-Chair and former State Senator Judith Freedman said. "She will be there to preside with fairness and compassion on each individual matter.”
