Thinking About Going Solar? This Meeting's for You

Westport Green Task Force announces a Solar Photovoltaic (electricity) Workshop on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at Earthplace, The Nature Discovery Center, 10 Woodside Ln.

If you've thought about installing solar energy equipment on your home, you may want to look into the town's Thermal Imaging and Energy Efficiency Program, and a meeting about it this coming Thursday.

Here's an announcement about the event, sent from the First Selectman's Office on behalf of the Westport Green Task Force:

Westport Green Task Force announces a Solar Photovoltaic (electricity) Workshop on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at Earthplace, The Nature Discovery Center, 10 Woodside Ln.

As part of Westport's Thermal Imaging and Energy Efficiency Program, FOR A LIMITED TIME, Westport homeowners can benefit from a 15 to 25 percent discount on Solar Photovoltaic (electricity) market pricing with the latest solar technology (microinverters), 25 year warranties and a robust production guarantee.

There is also the option of going solar with no money down, or with a low interest loan.  Astrum Solar has been chosen to provide this program.

Westporters unable to attend the workshop may log on to Astrum Solar's "We Green Westport" Web page.
