A Muslim, a Christian and a Jew Share Experiences [Postponed]

Want to know more about Islam and the Muslim experience in America? On Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m., WestportREADS 2011 will present the second of two programs addressing these issues.

In a program entitled "A Muslim, a Christian, a Jew—Three Women Search for Understanding," the authors and founders of The Faith Club, Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver, and Priscilla Warner, will talk about how they met after 9/11 to try to make sense of their different religions for their children—and themselves.

After a difficult start, their interfaith friendship blossomed and eventually gave rise to their book exploring a new way of relating to others and to interfaith discussion groups around the country. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing after the program.
