Author Doug Merlino at Westport Library

Author Doug Merlino will attend and event co-sponsored with TEAM Westport at Westport Library to discuss his new book,"The Hustle: One Team and Ten Lives in Black and White."

Books will be available at the library for purchase and signing.

A percentage of all purchases will benefit the Library.

A former TEAM member, Merlino will look at how race, money and opportunity shape us.

His book is based on two Seattle fathers in 1986 who mixed white and black players from inner city and private schools on a basketball team and follows the different points of view in life.

This talk is free and open to the public.
