FairCo TEEM: The Second Web/Internet 2.5 -- sensors, messages and hashtags

There is a world of data and activity beyond the browser, across the internet, private networks and mobile networks. Smart companies are leveraging this data and activity in countless ways. For our final Meet-up of the year, we will look at the "Second Web" to try to get an early view of where the trends are heading and where the opportunities can be found.

John Blossom is President, Shore Communications, and author of Content Nation. Here's a link to his full bio. John is working on a new book titled "The Second Web" -- which focuses on the wide and growing number of non-web technologies that leverage the Internet and other networks.

Jane Kim is VP of Business Development of Hashable, a startup focused on creating vibrant collaborative communities by leveraging Twitter's infrastructure and other technologies. Jane previously worked at search engine marketer Quigo, which was acquired by AOL in 2007. After AOL, Jane worked at Bridgewater Associates.
