From noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Westport Country Playhouse, Locals for Locals sponsors the premier First Thursdays of 2010: a special three speaker life-remodeling event to open the New Year.

Penny Pearlman is a woman who knows how to manage change.  Every five years she reinvents herself.  She is an accomplished motivational speaker, strategic change consultant and seminar leader who helps individuals and organizations develop strategies for success as well as the author of the triple award winning Pretty Smart: Lessons from our Miss Americas. She brings to audiences and clients alike the wisdom gained from a lifetime of pursuing her own dreams. Her personal journey has included executive positions in the health care industry, management consulting and nonprofit leadership.

Raffles at this event benefit the Westport Country Playhouse and the Breast Cancer Emergency Aid Foundation (www.bceaf.org).

Admission is $20 and includes a choice of two different gourmet box lunches, provided by Collyer Catering.
