Sunset Lecture: Saugatuck River Watershed

Sally Harold, project director
The Saugatuck River Watershed Partnership

The Watershed covers over 57,000 acres in eleven municipalities.  A major source of drinking water for Fairfield County, it also contains a rich diversity of healthy habitats supporting a variety of species. Through the Partnership's efforts, the Nature Conservancy is working to restore and protect this ecological diversity.  Harold will discuss some of its projects. She also assists the Conservancy's Long Island Sound Program and directs a four-state diadromous fish protection team.
