A former freshman football coach with was sentenced to two years of probation on Wednesday.
According to a report in WesportNow.com, Michael J. Pickering, 41, of Norwalk, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and one count of second-degree breach of peace at state Superior Court in Norwalk, for which he received one year of jail time, suspended, and two years of probation.
Should Pickering — who had following his arrest last November — violate the terms of his probation, he will go to prison, according to the report.
