Twin Brothers Named Valedictorian, Salutatorian

Eric and Todd Lubin are Staples High School's top students.

With graduation fast approaching, the Lubin brothers were named the Class of 2011 valedictorian and salutatorian, according to the school district.

As valedictorian, Eric Lubin will speak at the graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 22.

Salutatorian Todd Lubin will address the audience at baccalaureate ceremony on Tuesday, June 21.

Westport Patch wrote about Eric Lubin's tech-savvy proclivities twice last year. First, the senior developed the earlier this year. The program intended organize the busy lives of Staples students with planners and other tools.

The second app he created was It was inspired by the apps created by all the big media companies.

"It's kind of just what I liked about every app and then I combined it all into this Inklings app," he said.

 School officials congratulated the Lubin brothers in a press release.
