The Beachside U13 soccer club made of up girls under 13 years old from Fairfield County defeated the No. 1 ranked team from New York in the Patriots Football Club Thanksgiving Day tournament.
The tournament, was by invitation only for competitive soccer clubs.
Beachside was ranked No. 4 in Connecticut but this win moved them to the No. 1 spot in the state based on points.
