Family Y Spring Break Programs and Activities

The Westport Weston Family Y is the go-to source for affordable in-town recreation and learning opportunities during the upcoming spring school break, Apr. 16-20. Our special vacation programs and activities for local youth are open to Y Members and non-members alike, for the week or by the day. Visit www.westporty.org for details and to register.

Splash Week!
Our newest learn-to-swim program will feature a 30-minute swim lesson Monday through Thursday and a free swim on Friday. There are several morning sessions from which to choose, for preschoolers (ages 3 to 5) as well as children ages 6 to 12. Wednesday’s sessions will feature a special visit from Stewie the Duck, who will talk to the kids about swim safety. Thanks to the generous support from the Stew Leonard III Children’s Charities, the cost is only $10 for the week -- and all participating kids receive free water-safety gifts.

Vacation Gymnastics
Children ages six and up can learn and improve their gymnastics skills during the spring school break at our afternoon Vacation Gymnastics and Swim program, held daily from 12 to 4 pm. A free swim is included each day. Bring a snack and a drink, and please be aware that children must be able to swim without a flotation device to participate. The cost is $165 for the week; $40 per day. (No Y membership is required.)
