Double Up Dance Group Offer Master Classes in Westport

Marlayne Schaeffer, Director of Westport Dance Center is proud to announce that "Double Up Dance Group", creators and choreographers Brian and Paul Herman will be offering 2 master classes at WDC on Sunday, February 5, 2012 open to all Hip Hop dance enthusiasts in the local area.

Twins, Brain and Paul began their dancing journey while growing up in the South Bronx.  They took time out to earn degrees from Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University in Fairfield and then geared up and pursued their passion for dance.  Their energizing, versatile moves and captivating stage presence helped them get noticed by the hip hop dance community and soon the industry would give them an opportunity to tour, choreograph, and travel the world.

They have had an opportunity working with such artists as Rhianna, Alicia Keyes, and Kat Deluna where they performed and choreographed for concerts, events, and music videos.

After traveling the world for several years they returned to Connecticut with a goal and strong committment to bringing their love of dance to youth who may not be able to pursue dance due to economic, physical or developmental reasons.  They created "Move to Succeed" which travels to schools spreading their positive energy through their gift and inspiring students.

This is a special opportunity for area Hip Hop dance enthusiasts to have a truly unique dance experience.
