The Staples Football Team (11-0) will play Xavier (9-1) at Wilton High School tonight at 6:30pm for the first round of "LL" playoffs. The winner will play for the state championship on Saturday.
Staples is currently the No. 1 ranked team in Connecticut according to three major polls (Media, Coaches, and Sports Writers).
The Wreckers are also ranked No. 9 in the MSG Tri-State poll encompassing New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
