GFA Earns No. 2 Seed For FAA Tournament
The Dragons with host No. 7 King School in the quarterfinals on Wednesday
The pairings for the FAA playoffs were determined following the Masters School's 66-49 victory over the Hopkins School on Monday.
Hopkins won a coin toss over Brunswick to grab the No. 5 seed and Rye Country Day earned the No. 3 seed over Masters based on quality wins.
Greens Farms Academy secured the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 King School in a quarterfinal game on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Top seed Hamden Hall will entertain No 8 seed St. Luke's.

In other quarterfinal matchups on Wednesday, No. 3 Rye Country Day welcomes No. 6 Brunswick and No. 4 Masters will be at home for for No. 5 Hopkins.
The semifinals are set for Friday at the site of the higher seeds while the championship game will be played on Saturday.

GFA enters the FAA tourney with an overall record of 18-3, winning its final 15 regular-season games. The Dragons went 11-3 in FAA play, finishing just behind Hamden Hall (12-2), the defending FAA champion.
During the regular season, GFA beat King twice -- 66-51 in Stamford and 73-67 in Westport.
