Staples Boys Hockey Advances

Wyatt Fern scores in overtime as Wreckers defeat St Bernard-Bacon NFA In Division III quarerfinals

Wyatt Fern scored his second goal of the season just under two minutes into overtime Thursday, lifting the Staples boys hockey team to a 4-3 victory over St. Bernard-Bacon-NFA in the Division III state tournament  at the Northford Arena.

The Wreckers (15-7) will take on Windsor-East Granby-Avon in the semifinals on Tuesday at the Ingalls Rink.
