After Staples' Jake Frimet and Warde's Scott Hyman traded goals, Griffin Katz and Paul Lattiff found the back of the net for the Wreckers to complete the scoring.
"Staples is a very good team and they're very well coached," Warde coach Tom Cunningham said. "There's a reason they're the No. 5- ranked team in the state right now."
Next up for Staples is Monday's contest at Weston. While this is not a league game, it could be a good test for the Wreckers because Weston, a member of the South-West Conference, also is 9-0.
