Staples had a chance to get on the board in the first half, but couldn't convert after recovering a McMahon fumble at the Senators' 23-yard line.

Staples pulled within 14-7 on Nick Kelly's 4-yard TD, but the Senators answered that score on Lugo's second TD, a 7-yard run that made it 21-7 entering the fourth quarter.

However, Massie and Wreckers came alive with 17 unanswered points.  Massie's 14-yard TD pass to James Frusciante pulled Staples within 21-14 with seven minutes remaining. The Wreckers then forced an interception that led to the tying score.
