Staples-Weston-Shelton junior forward Kyle Wehmhoff has been named to the all-FCIAC first team in boys hockey.

Wehmhoff was the leading scorer for the Wreckers (16-8) with 21 goals and 29 assists. He had five goals in Staples' 6-1 victory over Windsor/East Grandby/Avon in the Division III semifinals.

Staples went on to lose to Watertown-Pomperaug 4-0 in the finals. After losing in the title game for the second time in three years, the Wreckers will be moving up to Division II next season.
