Only two weeks remain in the regular season. The Westport Cardinals are in sixth place. The top four advance to the championship playoffs. The fifth- through eighth-place teams in the final standings vie for the Presidents Cup

Connecticut Premier AAU Girl Basketball is hosting an eight-week clinic for all girls in grades four through 12.

It will take place at Staples High School in Westport on Saturdays beginning on Sept 17 and ending on Nov. 5. Grades 4-7 from 9am-10:30am. Grades 8-12 from 10:30am-12pm.

Tryouts for the 2012 season will take place on Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 at Staples.
