Donations Roll In After Fire At Saugatuck Church

The community helps to make a hearty meal for Saugatuck Congregational Church's Thanksgiving Feast.

The fire that consumed a large part of Sunday night also destroyed more than 30 donated turkeys that were defrosting for Thursday's Thanksgiving Feast that will now be held at 1:00 PM at the new location,

Less than 24 hours after the fire came, two large donations from Scott Thommen of Britt-Air and Stew Leonard's replaced their recently donated turkeys.

Many folks have asked how they can help the church. The United Church of Christ of Connecticut has set up an online donation facility that can be used for people to donate to Saugatuck Church to support their needs as as result of the fire. The fourth item down is "Saugatuck CC Fire Fund."
