Light the Menorah, Meet Santa and More This Week in Westport

Here's a look at what's happening in and around town this week. 

• Light the Westport Menorah with live music, gelt, latkes and dreidels for all at the Compo Acres Shopping Center. 

• The Curio Cottage Thrift Shop at the Westport Woman’s Club will hold a Holiday Open House offering lots of unique one of a kind items. 

• Following the Town Hall tree lighting, Branson Hall of Christ & Holy Trinity Church will be open to all for live music, food, special performances and Santa.  

• Earthplace is hosting a special screening of Gasland Part II, followed by a Q&A with David Brown and Jonathan Steinberg, local experts and activists on the topic of fracking.

• Good things come to those who braise. Chef Helton of Barcelona will demonstrate the art of braising and how easy it is to make for the next family meal.
