Plans for the Electric Vehicle Rally, Saturday, April 27
Westport Electric Car Club Electric Vehicle Road Rally, Saturday, April 27. WECC is a non-profit that promotes vehicle electrification, EV infrastructure, public education, & a cleaner environment.
The EV rally is being staged by the Westport Electric Car Club. This is a non-profit organization. We have no affiliation with any corporations, though we do reach out to them for sponsorships in order to support our events.
The WECC worked with the Town of Westport and State of Connecticut in the project that culminated in the installation of solar panels atop the historic train depot building on the Eastbound side of the Saugutuck Metro-North station, along with 4 EV charging stations. This is the first location along the New Haven line with EV charging and we hope there will be many more.

The plans for the EV Road Rally rally are moving along. We expect to exceed our target of 20 plug-in vehicles participating and more sponsors are coming on board. Further updates will be posted next week as more details get finalized. Please join us to see the EVs, speak to owners and manufacturers, and enjoy the festivities at 1PM at the Blu Parrot near the Saugatuck station (westbound side). Free entry.
