Longshore Club Park, once an elegant private estate, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2010 as a town-owned public recreational facility. The 169-acre scenic park on the shore of the Long Island Sound has an 18-hole golf course, three swimming pools, tennis courts, seasonal ice skating rink, playgrounds and picnic areas. It is the home of the Longshore Sailing School, The Inn at Longshore and the E.R. Strait Marina.
