It's not about competition, it is about taxes, plain and simple. Please don't take it the wrong way.

Boo Freakin' Hoo! If you can't stand the competition......Change your business model or findRead More another line of work. No sympathy here.

Neglected to say that I do agree with Elvira. My suggestion is that a fee should be paid per day notRead More per year and the out of town food trucks should have a designated spot where there is no LOCAL competition. Just to park to go to the beach in Westport as an out-of-towner one has to pay the daily fee is $30 weekdays, and $50 on weekends and holidays.

Ate there a year ago-- it was absolutely awful! It looked like dog food ( and I'm a dog lover) andRead More the portions were teeny. Not surprised. You don't need music- just really good, reasonably priced food in a warm atmosphere: not easily accomplished.

Sad for small businesses to close but the food here really wasn't great.

I'm a big fan of Julian's and it's our go to for take out Pizza (now maybe delivery too). They alsoRead More have a pretty delicious chicken parm grinder.

Nice idea on Valencias or even Bodega Taco Bar - both by the same chef: Michael Young. I'd vote forRead More that!

I'd agree that Westport needs more live music venues but something about the Blue Parrot didn'tRead More click with the current town vibe. It is a great location and I hope something with great food moves in (I'd prefer something like Valencia, Fat Cat, etc).

Something that still uses the performance space, keeps sound levels reasonable , and stays openRead More late. There are so few spots to have a bite after 9 PM in town. And so few ggood perfromance venues where people can also kick back.

The store has been completely rebuilt with all new sheetrock and a new cement floor. Now SunglassRead More Hut is completly updating their interior.
