Chris Rueli is the editor of the Westport Patch. He was raised in Suffield, Connecticut and graduated from Boston University's College of Communication in 2009. While in college, he was the editor of his class magazine, "New Leaf," a publication focused on green practices.

From Suffield, Chris moved to Breckenridge, Colorado for one year where he skied and blogged about his adventures in the Rocky Mountains. Chris moved back to Suffield and took a job as a cops and courts reporter for the Register Citizen newspaper in Torrington, Connecticut. He covered more than just law enforcement, though. He also focused on events such as the Junior Olympics' Nordic Combined in addition to the Ferrari Challenge at Lime Rock Park.

Chris' dream job would be working as a road-test editor for an automotive journalism publication.
