Patrice Fitzgerald has been writing since she could read, but got side-tracked in her quest to be a full-time creative person by going to law school. After practicing intellectual property law for 15 years, she tried her hand at a novel, and was hooked. Then came the journey to publication! Patrice also wrote for the Westport and Ridgefield Patch sites when they first launched, and her work has appeared in print in numerous Connecticut publications including the Hartford Courant, Hartford Magazine, and CT Business Magazine.
West Hartford was her home from 1985 until 2008, when she moved down to Fairfield County. She has been back in West Hartford, where she raised her family, since 2011. Look for her singing jazz, Broadway, and opera around the region with her husband Richard, a bass-baritone and trumpet player.
