Westport Library Book Sale: What You Need to Know

The annual sale runs from Saturday, July 20 through Tuesday, July 23.

The Westport Public Library's annual book sale -- which kicks off on Saturday, July 20 -- will feature over 80,000 items spanning more than 50 categories, from "Art to Zoology," including literature and art books, children's books, hardcover and paperback fiction and non-fiction, audiobooks, CDs, vinyl records, and more.

The sale will take place inside the library and under tents on Jesup Green. Since the Green is currently home to the temporary Levitt Pavilion, several changes regarding entrances, exits, and reserving space in line on opening day will be put into effect -- click here for details.

Specials this year include a rare Catholic German bible in its original pigskin binding, a varied collection of literary magazines, theatre arts books, model railroad magazines, leather-bound books, and more.
