CABO Holiday Event at Westport Country Playhouse with the “Stonewall Sensation”

The Connecticut Alliance for Business Opportunities (CABO), the statewide LGBT Chamber of Commerce,  will be hosting a Holiday Party on Thursday, December 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Westport Country Play House Barn.  Cost is $10 per person, RSVP requested at www.theCABO.org/events or by calling 203-903-8525.

The lovely Sarah Ferro will be performing from 6:30 to 7 p.m  Sarah has been singing and acting on stage ever since she got her start in Army Community Theater as a military brat enjoying such roles as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, Pepper in Annie, and Maria in The Sound of Music. Upon completing a degree in musical theater from the University of Miami, Sarah set sail as the lead singer aboard cruise ships and performed throughout the US with productions such as Berlin To Broadway: The Music of Kurt Weill, Jesus Christ Superstar, Harry Chapin's America and Come Fly With Me: The Music of Sammy Cahn directed by Paul Blake, Mr. Cahn’s original director. Some of her New York credits include: Jessie in In Circles with Music by Al Carmines and Text by Gertrude Stein and I’m Going to Love You Forever, a biopic piece on the late Wally Harper, singing the role of Barbara Cook. Most recently, Sarah has performed her one-woman cabaret show at the Fairfield Theater Company as well as the famed Stonewall Inn in New York’s Greenwich Village, where she is holds the esteemed title of Stonewall Sensation. Sarah is also proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
