Long Lots Elementary School Kindergarten Play Dates

The Long Lots Elementary School PTA has planned a series of four summer play dates when incoming kindergarten students can meet and get to know other kindergarteners before school begins.

We are hoping to ease the transition to kindergarten, particularly for youngsters who may not have attended preschool or who are new to the area.

Play dates are planned on the newly dedicated playground behind the school, weather permitting, on the following dates:

Friday, August 9th – 3:00-5:00
Monday, August 12th – 5:00-7:00
Thursday, August 15th – 3:00-5:00
Tuesday, August 20th – 3:00-5:00

The PTA Logowear Committee will be selling Long Lots Spirit Wear at each of these events.

We will also be seeking volunteers for recess and lunch duty coverage during those initial weeks of school.
