200 Westport residents gathered at Compo Beach last night for the Westport Republicans Family Beach BBQ and Meet the Candidates event. Among those on hand to meet voters and discuss the issues were First Selectman candidate Jim Marpe; candidate for Board of Finance Jen Tooker; candidates for Board of Education Michael McGovern, Jeannie Smith and Karen Kleine; and Probate Judge candidate Lisa Wexler. Also attending the event were candidate for CT Governor John McKinney, State Senator Toni Boucher and State Representative Gail Lavielle.
