New Canaan High School English Teacher, Christine Bonarrigo, spoke to the 2nd Generation Group LINKING GENERATIONS OF THE SHOAH on October 8, 2013 at the Westport UJA office about the course she teaches to High School seniors called Literature of the Holocaust.
The 2nd Generation Group, led by Wilton resident and former educator Ann Cohn, was formed in July 2012 and is made up primarily of Children of Holocaust Survivors. There are approximately fifty members hailing from Connecticut and Westchester County. The group explores and shares the unique experiences, awareness, bonds, burdens, and responsibilities that come with being Children of Holocaust survivors.
