Take a bow,,,
You've decided to give Tai Chi a try and experience it for yourself.
Tai Chi is a series of slow moving postures that flow into one another to create a form. Tai Chi requires no weights, no mats, no extra tools to perform. Tai Chi can be practiced in your living room or in the park.
Tai Chi has the physical benefits of walking. It helps activate the calf muscle pump allowing blood to circulate from your legs to your heart. Tai Chi incorporates breathing which helps calm the mind and reduce stress. It has been called moving meditation by many people. A beginners class is starting on March 22 as part of the Westport continuing education program. Log onto www.energyflowtaichi.com for more information.
