More than 3,000 students participate in art education programs at the WAC each year through school-group visits, after-school and weekend art classes, summer vacation camps, and family-friendly workshops with experienced art educators.

"At a time in which many art organizations have struggled to meet enrollment, participation in our educational programs has tripled this year," reported WAC's Director of Education, Danielle Cavanna. "We offer art programs that enable students be creative, think out side of the box, experiment with a wide range of materials, and interact socially in a warm and nurturing environment. Both parents and children have responded to these aspects of our programs and we've seen quite an impressive increase in our youth audience this year."

All education programs will be taught by WAC Director of Education, Danielle Cavanna.  Cavanna received her M.A. in Art History from Boston University and an Ed.M in Arts in Education from Harvard University. She has taught arts programs at museums including the British National Trust at Tytesfield, the Newport Restoration Foundation, and the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard.
