Westport’s Bravest Featured on Channel 8’s ‘Firehouse Fridays'

Rich Calabria and Matt Cohen from the Westport Fire Department are whipping up their take on braciole on the Sept. 14 segment of Firehouse Fridays during WTNH Channel 8’s Connecticut Style program, 12:30–1:00 p.m. The recipe will be posted on WTNH.com after the show airs.

Beside showcasing some of the state’s best firehouse cooking, the bi-weekly Firehouse Fridays segments help promote the renovation campaign for The Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital—the state’s only dedicated burn care facility and one of only 60 verified burn centers in the United States. The fundraising campaign is being spearheaded by firefighters from around the state, including those from Westport.
