Though the approval process was lengthy, liquor stores are now springing up around Wilton fairly quickly.

While an added convenience to local shoppers and a boon to Wilton's economy, the store openings do beg the question: what about the shops in surrounding towns?

We asked some of these owners how they expect to fare and what, if anything, they're doing to keep their businesses bustling.
