  • There’s a provocative (and free) lecture at Fairfield University titled “The Death of Jesus and the Revival of Jewish-Christian Relations.” The lecture will discuss how various tellings of Jesus’ death have "glorified suffering, condoned passivity in the face of violence, and constricted the meaning of salvation by associating it only with Jesus’ death—as if his life and ministry had little meaning." The lecture is April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Fairfield University’s Dola School of Business dining room.
