Blotter: Fake IDs and Real DUIs

Police reports from March 8-12.

The follow arrest information was provided by the Westport Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

  • A Westport teen was hit with 40 counts of second-degree forgery and $100,000 bail after being accused of buying and producing fake IDs. Rylan Homscheid, 19, of Danbury Avenue, turned himself in on March 8 having knowledge there was a warrant for his arrest. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Danbury on March 11.
  • A father and son on Crooked Mile Road were charged with disorderly conduct on March 9 at 11:06 p.m. According to the report, Robert, 54, and James Altschuler, 19, were involved in a domestic dispute. Both were released on a promise to appear in state Superior court in Norwalk on March 10.
  • Christina Mason, 46, of Norwalk, was arrested on March 10 at 11:48 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in the proper lane and insurance coverage below minimums. According to the report, Mason was seen crossing into oncoming traffic lanes on Post Road East. She was pulled over and failed field sobriety tests. Mason’s bail was set at $500 and she is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 22.
  • Christian Grasso, 20, of Wilton, was arrested on March 12 at 12:33 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive right. According to the report, Grasso was seen riding on the double yellow centerline on Post Road West. She was pulled over and failed field sobriety tests. She refused to take breath tests. Grasso’s bail was set at $500 and she is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on March 22.
  • Jeannine Flower, 44, of Compo Road South, was arrested on March 12 at 10:32 p.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct. According to the report, Flower was involved in a domestic dispute with a family member. She was released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on March 14.
