Flute Quartet Draws Crowd

Music at the library featured The Norwalk Symphony Flute Quartet today.

The Norwalk Symphony Flute Quartet played Haydn, Mozart, Devienne, and Rossini, along with seasonal favorites today at the Westport Public Library.

The quartet features Jane Shelly on flute, Nina Crothers on violin, Suzanne Sahlin on viola and Gunnar Sahlin on cello.

  • Flute Quartet No. 2 in B Major by Gioacchino Rossini, which quartet members said was their favorite piece.
  • Flute Quartet in D Major, K. 285 by Wolfgang A. Mozart.

The concert drew a crowd of about 80 people.
