GFA Alumni Jam A Cappella

Greens Farms Academy hosts the college singing groups.

Greens Farms Academy hosted its fourth "Java Jam" Saturday since former GFA teacher Dave Perry began the event in 1996.

Every four years, the Java Jam welcomes back GFA's a cappella alumni and the college groups they sing with for an evening of fun, energetic entertainment. This year, groups from Brown, Connecticut College, Northeastern, Princeton, Skidmore and the University of Rochester performed in the event, which also serves as a fundraiser for the school. The night also included cameo performances by GFA's own Beachside Express, Harbor Blues and Chamber Choir.

Greens Farms Academy is a K-12 day school in Westport, serving 650 students. For more information, visit www.gfacademy.org.
