Grab & Go Kids Planner: Benefit Concert, Touch a Truck

This week, spend some time with the kids while benefiting some important causes, enjoy a concert at Staples High School and check out storytelling events for both kids and teens.

Where/When: on Mar.27 at 4 p.m.
Why Go: Westport kids will come together and perform classical, jazz and pop music in a concert  event that will benefit the Association of Hall in the Wall Camps. Complimentary refreshments following the performance.
Pricing: FREE ADMISSION

Where/When:   on Mar. 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Why Go: Whether you were in a tent on a scouting trip or playing under your bed as a kid, shelter is a universal need. Maybe you were settling into your first dorm room, finding, renting, building or even losing a relationship that kept you sheltered? Five great storytellers will have you laughing, thinking, maybe crying. Come and listen!
Pricing:  $15-20

Where/When:   on Mar. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Why Go: Bring the kids and climb aboard a wide selection of construction trucks and emergency vehicles! This year's event promises a fleet of crowd-pleasing trucks including bulldozers, fire trucks and limousines.  Face painting, baked goods and more. Proceeds benefit the Westport Weston Cooperative Nursery School
Pricing:  $20 per family (six members or less)

Where/When:   on Mar. 22 from  4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Why Go: Kids of all ages are invited to the Higgins Room at the library to share the adventure of stories from near and far!
Pricing: FREE

Where/When: on Mar. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: This Festival will celebrate Westport’s Bands and will feature the combined 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade bands from Bedford and Coleytown Middle Schools, and the Staples High School freshmen, sophomore, and Symphonic Bands.
