Wind Advisory Issued
National Weather Service reports strong winds and chance of flooding.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Westport tonight through Wednesday afternoon.
Easterly winds are expected to increase to 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph late tonight. The strongest winds are expected between 7 a.m. and noon Wednesday. The winds will diminish in the afternoon as a warm front moves in over the region.
A flash flood watch is also in effect through Wednesday afternoon.
